 06/12/11 | Zen Catering at The Gallery of Modern Art & Queensland Art Museum

We are extremely proud to announce that Zen Catering has been awarded a preferred supplier agreement for the supply of function & event catering at GOMA and QAG. Private and Corporate clients are now be able to use Zen Caterings services within these iconic venues for their next event.

Zen Catering has been operating unofficially as a preferred supplier for the last 3 years providing catering services for the opening of key exhibitions with in both venues. This experience means that Zen Catering has extensive knowledge of operating together with both establishments in executing detailed, high quality events.

 16/11/11 | Brisbane International Film Festival

Zen Catering was proud to be involved in catering for four awesome Brisbane International Film Festival events this year with the closing night on Saturday at The Barracks hosting 700 people for drinks and canapes. The team had heaps of fun and look forward to working with BIFF again next year!

 28/09/11 | Long Lunch @ Bulimba Festival

On Sunday 28th of August, Zen Catering was involved in the catering at the Bulimba Festival. With over 110 different stalls, Zen was kept busy hosting the Long Lunch on Oxford St, a three course, sit down lunch for 100 guests. Excecutive Chef Simon Garbutt wowed attendees with a sensational menu including a delicious dish of “Roasted double lamb cutlet with tomato fondue, Provençal vegetables, thyme scented jus & crisp goats curd”. With the event a huge success, Zen and the Returned Soldiers League will surely work together to ensure the event next year is just as memorable.

After a fantastic three year relationship as one of the preferred caterers for the Brisbane Powerhouse, it is with great pleasure and quite a bit of pride, that we announce that Zen Catering has been awarded the exclusive rights for catering at this iconic Brisbane venue. Coming head to head with Brisbane’s premier caterers, our team at Zen were the stand out winner and we look forward to continuing the wonderful work in conjunction with the brilliant team at the Powerhouse.
