2016 Summer Soiree

Wednesday 9th November 2016 will forever be a night to remember thanks to the spectacular annual Summer Soiree held at QUT Gardens Point in Roomthreesixty.

With over 200 attendees the room was decked out in all things Moroccan, creating an authentic atmosphere. There was a brightly patterned custom dance floor for all the guests to bust a move, make-shift henna design corner (for those of us not quite brave enough for a tattoo), funky photobooth plus props galore, gorgeous floral backdrop, light-up ‘magic’ letters (perfect description of the night) and a bespoke Zen menu that was served throughout the evening.

Our menu options included; Dip platters with hommus & roasted Middle Eastern eggplant dip, lamb kofte with garlic scented labneh, zucchini blossom with haloumi in olive brioche crumb, fried chicken with middle eastern spices, calarmari with tahini remoulade, cerviche of swordfish ras al hanout , parsnip skordalia with breadsticks, roasted Atlantic salmon, potato salad, peas & Persian spices and we finished off the night with one of our desserts, our rich chocolate & cardoman tart with Turkish delight.
